Argile Verte du Velay is naturally made from a blend of 3 different Clays (Illite, Kaolin, Montmorillonite), with complementary properties and virtues.
It contains no quartz or silica. Rich in minerals and trace elements, this extremely pure blend (over 80% green clay in the ore) makes Argile Verte du Velay a unique product, a truly universal and natural care product. Skin elasticity :
Study conducted by the Chemlab laboratory in Avril 2018. Carried out on 20 volunteers (women aged between 24 and 68).
Application of 1 to 2 mm of Clay paste on the Face, removed after 20 min.
Conclusion: Significant increase in Skin elasticity, on average +14% after 20 min.

Reduction in sebum :
Study conducted by the Chemlab laboratory in Avril 2018. Carried out on 20 volunteers (women aged between 24 and 68).
Application of 1 to 2 mm of Clay paste on the Face, removed after 10 min.
Conclusion: Significant reduction in sebum secretion, on average - 68% after 10 minutes.

Deodorising efficiency:
Study carried out by Sensenet in February 2018, using odour concentration measurements.
For the evaluation, a sample of Green Clay from Velay (CosGREEN™) and a sample of Kaolin (CosKAO™) were separately brought into contact with synthetic sweat. Olfactory measurements were then carried out at T + 1h, T + 2h, T + 3h in order to compare the results between the mixture with the Ultra-ventilated CosGREEN™, with the CosKAO™ and the synthetic sweat alone.
Conclusions: Clay du Velay quickly and effectively reduces odours. Its action is maximal shortly after 2h of action time, the odour is neutralised.
Kaolin reduces odour, but less effectively than Argile Verte du Velay. Odour not neutralised after 3 hours.
In comparison, the odour of sweat alone is increased by 4 to 5 times compared to T0.
