How to use it

Compositions & ingredients

Composition: ACTIVE SUBSTANCES: Permethrin (CAS 52645-53-1): 1.77 g/kg (S)-methoprene (CAS 65733-16-6): 0.025 g/kg. Biocide classification: Insecticide TP18.

Keep out of reach of children and heat sources.
Ready-to-use aerosol.
HAZARD STATEMENTS: Contains permethrin. May cause an allergic reaction. Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurised container: may burst if heated. Causes serious eye irritation. Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS: Read label carefully before use and follow all instructions. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. Collect spillage. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C/122°F. Store at temperatures not exceeding 40°C. RISK MANAGEMENT MEASURES:
- Do not use on water-washable surfaces and textiles.
- Do not wash furniture with damp cloths and do not wash carpets and rugs with water to avoid discharge into drains.
- Remove all food, animal feed and drinks before treatment.
- Do not use on surfaces and installations near or likely to come into contact with food, animal feed or drinks.
- Avoid contact with eyes.
- After spraying, leave the room and allow one hour before ventilating.
- Remove or cover terrariums, aquariums and pet cages before application.
- Turn off aquarium air filters during spraying.
- Keep cats away from treated surfaces. Due to their high sensitivity to permethrin, the product may cause serious adverse effects in cats.
- Keep children and pets away during treatment.
SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIRECT OR INDIRECT EFFECTS, FIRST AID AND EMERGENCY MEASURES TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT:
- Inhalation: Move the affected person to fresh air and keep at rest in a semi-reclined position. Consult a doctor immediately if symptoms appear and/or in case of large quantity inhalation.
- Eye contact: Immediately and thoroughly rinse eyes with water, lifting the upper and lower eyelids several times. Check for and remove contact lenses if possible. Continue rinsing with lukewarm water for at least 10 minutes. Consult a doctor if irritation or visual disturbances occur.
- Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash affected skin with water. Contact a poison treatment specialist if symptoms appear.
- Oral contact: Rinse mouth with water. Contact a poison treatment specialist immediately if symptoms appear and/or in case of large quantity ingestion.
- Do not give anything to drink or induce vomiting if the person is unconscious. Place in the recovery position and consult a doctor immediately.
- Keep the container or label at hand.
Permethrin may be dangerous to cats. If signs of poisoning appear, consult a vet immediately and show them the label. Pyrethroids may cause paraesthesia (a burning and tingling sensation on the skin without irritation). If symptoms persist: consult a doctor.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT AND ITS PACKAGING:
- Do not dispose of unused product on the ground, in watercourses, drains (sink, toilet, etc.) or sewers.
- Dispose of unused product, packaging and any other waste in accordance with local regulations.
STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE UNDER NORMAL STORAGE CONDITIONS:
- Shelf life: 24 months
- Do not store at temperatures exceeding 40°C
- Do not expose to direct sunlight
- Protect from frost
