How to use it
- Press gently on either side of the thermometer to remove the cap. Do not force to remove the cap.
- Always use a new, undamaged probe tip. Make sure the ear canal is clean.
- Fit the probe tip.
- Press the ON/MEM button to switch on the thermometer. The thermometer is ready for use when the ear icon stops flashing and after two short beeps.
- Gently pull the ear back so that the ear canal is straight and gently position the probe in the ear towards the tympanic membrane to obtain an accurate reading.
- Measuring ear temperature: using your index finger, press the Scan button until you hear a long beep.
- Switch the thermometer off: the device will switch off automatically after 1 minute to extend battery life.
