Kelo-cote is a silicone gel for the treatment of scars. Its light texture allows to dry automatically. Kelo-cote dries quickly to form a film; This silicone gel film is flexible, gas permeable and water resistant. Kelo-cote adheres to the stratum corneum (the dead outermost layer of the epidermis), creating a protective barrier against chemical invasion. physical and microbial scar while contributing to the hydration of the skin. This creates an environment that allows the scar to evolve with standardised collagen synthesis and improves its physiological and aesthetic appearance.
