Iprad Laboratories offer Medigyne, microbiotic-based oral capsules.
The vaginal Microbiota is a rich and complex ecosystem made up of microorganisms. In fact, after the Gastro-intestinal Microbiota, the vaginal Microbiota contains the highest concentration of lactobacilli.
There is a proven link between the Gastro-intestinal Microbiota and the urogenital Microbiota, and the lactobacilli that make them up pass naturally from one to the other. This is explained in particular by the anatomical proximity between the mucous membrane of the intestine and that of the vagina.
Medigyne is a food supplement that provides microbiotic strains (Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium) and vitamin D, which helps to maintain normal mucous membranes.
The capsules are gastro-resistant to provide optimum protection for the lactobacilli during digestive transit.

How to use it
If necessary: take 2 capsules a day for 7 days.
Maintenance: take 1 capsule a day for 14 days.
To be swallowed with a glass of water before a meal.

Ingredients: Bulking agent: maize starch; vegetable capsule (coating agent: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, gellan gum); ferments(Bifidobacterium animalis ssp lactis, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus plantarum); binder: magnesium salts of fatty acids; nicotinamide (vitamin B3).

If you have been diagnosed with an illness associated with a compromised immune system (e.g. AIDS), lactobacilli should only be ingested under medical supervision due to the possible risk of bacteremia.
