Dulcosoft is a medical device used to treat constipation and soften hard stools. It acts as a carrier to transport liquid and delaysintestinal absorption of water, leading to an increase in the amount of water in the colon. It softens hard stools and increases their volume. Macrogol 4000 has a purely physical mode of action: it is not absorbed by the body and is excreted unchanged.

How to use it
For adults and Children aged 8 Plus: take 1 to 2 sachets a day, dissolved in a drink, preferably taken as a single dose in the morning.
Children under the age of 8 should not use this product, as there are other, more suitable products.
The recommended dosage can be adapted to suit your individual needs. It can range from one sachet every 2 days to 2 sachets a day. The appropriate dose is the lowest dose that produces regular soft stools.
Read the leaflet carefully before use.
Suitable for :
The whole family: adults and children aged 8 and Plus;
during pregnancy and milk feeding;
diabetics: the solution contains no sugar;
patients on a low-sodium diet;
people intolerant to gluten.
Pregnancy and milk feeding : Dulcosoft ® can be taken during pregnancy or milk feeding as the absorption of macrogol 4000 is negligible, and for this reason no effect is expected. However, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, it is advisable to ask your doctor before using Dulcosoft ®.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, you are strongly advised to consult your doctor before use.
- Hypersensitivity to macrogol 4000
- Severe inflammatory bowel disease (such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease) or toxic megacolon (colectasis)
- Digestive perforation or risk of digestive perforation
- Ileus or suspected intestinal obstruction or symptomatic stenosis
- Abdominal pain syndromes of undetermined cause.
