Designation : Bandage with half-moon silicone insert and removable wrist whalebone.

Indications :

• activa osteoarthritis or arthritis of the wrist following trauma after moderately severe to severe distortions (sprain)
• tendonitis in the hand, tendovaginitis (wrist tendonitis)
• in cases of instability and functional overload of the wrist
• Subsequent treatment following wrist fractures, operations or the application of a cast.
• stage I algoneurodystrophy (SRDC)

Properties: Velpeau® Manus is a knitted bandage adapted to the anatomy of the wrist, with a half-moon-shaped silicone insert, a removable whalebone and a circular stabilisation strap. The whalebone can be adapted as required by a specialist. The cut-out of the circular stabilisation strap and the silicone pad surround the apophysis (ulnar styloid) on the outside of the forearm, protecting against excessive compression pressure.
